Wanted: A built-in feature to prevent "shouty" mobile phone calls

"Shouty" conversations, I believe, are a major problem of many people who talk on their mobile phones. They just couldn't seem to properly modulate their voices, unaware that they are already shouting when they're talking.

I suppose this problem can be easily solved by allowing the phone's speaker to include a feed from the microphone so the person talking knows how loud his or her voice already is. This could be easily done with a simple tweak on most smartphones.

If there's tunnel vision for pilots flying at supersonic speeds, there appears to be "tunnel hearing" for many mobile phone users. They're too caught up in their conversations that they don't mind annoying others with their awful voices.

I understand that some just don't realize it and that they don't really intend to be that bothersome. Hence, this tweak should be a great feature to include in new phones.
